With a natural aptitude for all things technology, his love of sharing knowledge with others, and his easy going manner, David’s professional life focused on corporate sales and training. He was always proud of his Denver, Colorado years at MCI in sales, where he received more sales awards than any employee in the company’s history at that time, even having a special award created in his honor. With his naturally affable personality and his ability to convey his genuine interest in every person’s story, he was the best type of salesperson: honest.
Achieving great success in corporate training, David concluded his career as a National Corporate Trainer for Comcast University, leading teams to open centers in Atlanta, Florida, and Chicago. He spent the last year traveling the country in that position, gleefully guiding ‘the next generation’ in how to establish positive rapport with customers. He reluctantly retired from Comcast in 2015 when his health began declining, then enjoying his retirement years immersed in learning new technology, talking to family members, in-person visits with his eldest grandson, daily riding his treasured e-bike, and always, always learning new things.
